We are thrilled to announce that Music Theatre Philly will merge with NEST Philly.
For years, Music Theatre Philly and NEST have been neighboring organizations serving Philadelphia's children and families. This merger advances our mission by giving us access to higher quality facilities including two large studio spaces, a room for small group instruction and an immersive playspace. With the addition of NEST’s programs for infants and toddlers to our roster, our new residence at NEST will become a hub where young people can find their voice throughout their entire childhood and adolescence.
In the coming months:
Our Winter/Spring 2024 Session classes and rehearsals will remain as scheduled at our 12th street location.
Beginning Summer 2024
K-6 grade summer camp will now be offered in the NEST building allowing more space for our campers to sing and dance the days away. Families who have already signed up for camp have been notified about this change.
NEW! Pre-K summer camp (ages 3-5) will be offered at our 12th Street location. MTP Staff will collaborate with NEST’s early education specialist to offer a camp that teaches social and life skills through the performing arts.
Beginning Fall 2024
All MTP programs will be housed in the NEST building and we will assume oversight of the NEST Playspace, Playschool, and classes.
