Music Theatre Philly has merged with NEST Philly.
For years, Music Theatre Philly and NEST have been neighboring organizations serving Philadelphia's children and families. This merger advances our mission by giving us access to higher quality facilities including two large studio spaces, a room for small group instruction and an immersive playspace. With the addition of NEST’s programs for infants and toddlers to our roster, our new residence at NEST will become a hub where young people can find their voice throughout their entire childhood and adolescence.
By Fall 2024, Music Theatre Philly will relocate to the NEST building at 1301 Locust Street and will absorb all of NEST’s programming into our annual offerings.
This merger advances our mission by giving us access to higher quality facilities including two large studio spaces, a room for small group instruction, and an immersive playspace.
Our vision is to enhance the quality of our performing arts training, increase accessibility, and refresh the look and layout of this space! We estimate that the entire renovation will cost approximately $500,000
