TAP develops the technical knowledge and fundamental skills of tap dance. Tap dance is one of the most popular styles of dance in musical theatre. The session will focus on:

  • Rhythm, coordination, and musicality

  • Technical exercises and foundational skills

  • Performance quality

2. BROADWAY BOOTCAMP

BROADWAY BOOTCAMP: is for the young performer ready to become a ‘triple threat’! This class explores the foundation of theater and production numbers in an ensemble setting. Get ready to shine on stage by learning these key theatrical skills:

3. INTRO TO ACTING

Tumble, turn, and flip your way through choreography in GYMNASTIC DANCE! With inspiration from gymnastic floor work and rhythmic exercises, this course will use acrobatic movements to tell a story through dance. You’ll be ready to audition for musicals such as Newsies and Bring it On with these fundamental skills:

  • Strength, flexibility, coordination

  • Introductory floorwork and tumbling

  • Rhythm, coordination, and musicality

  • Performance quality

Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course, along the way, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad), Munchkins, talking trees and winged monkeys. But most importantly, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain, a Tin Man with no heart, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness – and self-awareness – is a glowing testament to friendship, understanding and hope in a world filled with both beauty and ugliness.
