DISNEY ROYALTY is a welcoming introduction to the magic of theater! Students will explore the fundamental skills of theater through Disney’s musicals that made it from screen to stage. In a session of Disney Royalty, students will be able to: 

• Participate in guided storytelling with the use of characters, imagination, and props

• Move safely throughout space and maintain spatial awareness in synchronized dance routines

• Project their voices on stage while singing or speaking as a group

• Perform a final showcase musical number in front of an audience

ART CREATION STATION

Create masterpieces ART CREATION STATION! In this hands-on art class, young artists will explore their creativity through painting, drawing, sculpting, and sensory play. In a session of Art Creation Station, students will be able to: 

• Use and share various art materials and take turns during group activities 

• Recognize primary colors and art elements

• Create and talk about original art pieces using various mediums to express imaginative ideas

• Present an original piece of art for MTP’s Art Gallery at the end of the course

MY FIRST DANCE CLASS

MY FIRST DANCE CLASS introduces little ones to the world of dance through creative movement, basic ballet and jazz steps, and fun rhythm games. In a session of My First Dance Class, students will be able to: 

• Perform basic locomotive movements(galloping, skipping, marching, etc.)

• Hold and maintain basic dance positions(first position, pointed toes etc.)

• Move their bodies or clap to the beat of a song

• Move safely throughout space and maintain spatial awareness in synchronized dance routines

• Perform a final presentation in front of an audience

TUMBLING TOTS introduces students to the basics of movement and gymnastics. Little gymnasts will build coordination, strength, and balance with guidance from skilled instructors. In a session of Tumbling Tots, students will be able to: 

• Hold a basic support position, improve coordination, and balance in a stationary pose

• Transition between activities and take turns with peers

• Walk on balance beams, forward roll, and jump with two feet with increased confidence​

• Engage with music and movement props to support tap rhythm exploration

• Move safely throughout space and maintain spatial awareness in synchronized dance routines

In BROADWAY BABIES your performer will learn the classic tunes that took the streets of NYC by storm! This beginner level class is filled with singing, dancing, and acting to your favorite tunes of Broadway. In a session of Broadway Babies students will be able to:

Sing, dance, and dream along with your favorite characters in DISNEY SING-ALONG! Each session includes vocal warm-ups, storytelling, themed games, and simple choreography to help children build confidence, musicality, and stage presence. In a session of Disney Singalong, students will be able to: 

• Echo melodies and rhythmic phrases to popular songs

• Recognize and identify musical elements(loud/soft, fast/slow, high/low, etc.)

• Project their voices and perform simple choreographed movements 

• Perform a final showcase musical number in front of an audience
