Join us on Wednesday, December 3rd from 6:00–7:30 PM at Music Theatre Philly for Parenting Gender Creative Youth, a supportive and inclusive workshop designed for parents and caregivers of trans and gender creative children.

Led by Rachael Socha, MTP’s Director of Education and a child and family drama therapist, alongside Christine Ruberti-Bruning, a local art therapist who specializes in working with trans youth and their families, this session offers a safe and affirming space for connection, conversation, and community.

 

Together, participants will explore ways to support their children at every stage of their gender exploration journey, share experiences with other families, and learn strategies for fostering affirmation and understanding at home and beyond.

 

To ensure the safety and privacy of all families attending, this will be a closed workshop. Families interested in participating are asked to complete a short Google Form, after which Rachael or Christine will reach out for a brief pre-screen conversation to confirm that the workshop is an appropriate fit.

 

Given the current political climate, we are mindful of protecting family confidentiality and will not record or indicate in any of our systems that your child is trans.

The workshop fee is $25, which can be charged as a one-time payment to your family’s Sawyer account or paid via Venmo to Music Theatre Philly.
