Music Theatre Philly Summer Intern Program
Grades 9-12

MUSIC THEATRE PHILLY’s Summer Intern program is an opportunity for teen artists to learn about arts education under the guidance of our multi-faceted, experienced Teaching Artists and Administrative staff. Those enrolled will assist teachers with choreography and music direction, lead theatrical game breaks/activities, facilitate transitions throughout the camp day, and make lasting connections with fellow students and staff. 

 

Teen Summer Camp Discounts

Teens selected for summer internships will also be eligible for financial discounts for our teen summer musical camps. Discounts will depend on the number of weeks selected to serve as a summer intern. Applications for interns will be carefully reviewed as spots are limited.

Role Requirements: 

• Rising Grades 9-12

• Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:30 AM-2:30 PM during weekly youth summer camps

• Attend a mandatory Intern orientation 

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Theatrical experience preferred; not required
